1).-The Exchequer of Pleas, or Court of Exchequer. Los Barons of the Exchequer, o barones scaccarii , eran los jueces de la corte inglesa conocida como Exchequer of Pleas . 3.-The Court of King's Bench,formalmente The Court of the King Before the King Himself, era un tribunal de derecho común en el sistema legal inglés . Como resultado de acciones de reforma como la Ley de Middlesex, Common Pleas se volvió cada vez más conservador y resistente a los cambios del King's Bench debido al impacto que tuvieron en el negocio de Common Pleas. The writ of quominus, or writ of quo minus era una acción y una ficción legal que permitía al Tribunal de Hacienda obtener jurisdicción sobre los casos normalmente llevados ante el Tribunal de Causas Comunes. El Tesoro tenía la tarea de recaudar los ingresos del Rey, y la ficción legal funcionó al hacer que el demandante en un caso de deuda afirmara que era deudor del rey y que la deuda del demandado le impedía pagar al Rey. Como tal, el acusado sería arrestado y el caso sería escuchado por el tribunal de hacienda. Los predecesores de la orden estuvieron en uso desde al menos 1230, y fue de uso común (aunque estricto) durante el siglo XVI. El uso continuó en el siglo XIX, hasta que se abolieron todos los escritos originales en 1883.
